Stable Cottage, ten minutes walk down the lane from the centre of Treworgey Farm, was originally a cart house and stable. It is undergoing a full refurbishment before opening for bookings in late May 2025. The photo here shows the view from the master bedroom. More photos will follow once refurbishment is underway.
Upstairs the delightful sloping ceilings and low window sills make this a chocolate box cottage (child locks fitted). The romantic master bedroom has a king size brass bed and the lovely view up the valley and there is a pretty single bedroom.
Downstairs is open plan. The beamed sitting room has a comfortable sofa and armchair, a glass-fronted log burner, uneven ancient walls, lamps, pictures, antiques, books, smart TV and bluetooth radio. The fully-equipped painted kitchen, with beautiful old pine dresser, is under-floor heated.
French doors lead out from the sitting room to the large, level private garden. A garden gate leads into the paddock beyond. The cottage enjoys superb views looking away from the rest of the farmstead across patchwork fields.
