In 2024 we are going to trial opening the pool on the 29th March, in time for the main Easter holidays! This will be enabled by putting an additional heat exchanger onto the pool heating system, which runs on our home-grown biofuel.
Comfortable sun loungers and tables and chairs offer space to soak up the sun by the pool. For young children there is a toddler pool beside the main pool, and a playpen is available to keep the very young and inquisitive out of the pool while parents swim. Parents can comfortably sit and watch children swim from the warmth of the summer house, which has changing facilities, floats, a playpen and a loo. There is also an honesty-box fridge and freezer where you can help yourselves to drinks and delicious local ice-cream – a real treat!

If you're wondering about the other end of the season, watch this space! We plan to see how things go in the spring before commiting to keeping the pool open for longer into the autumn. We'll certainly let you know if we do!
𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕? Our pool (and all our cottages) are heated using a biofuel that we grow here on the farm - a carbon neutral solution. We even have solar energy running the pumps!
